We are seeking a Program Specialist in Kingman for the HIV/AIDS and the Fit at Fifty HealthCheck Programs. This is a full time position split between the HIV/AIDS and the Fit at Fifty HealthCheck Programs under the Outreach division of North Country HealthCare. The Program Specialist will conduct screening and implement the outreach activities as laid out in the contractual guidelines and work plan. The service area includes Coconino, Mohave and Yavapai Counties, especially in rural and medically underserved areas. The position requires strong communication and self-motivation skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Analizes and organizes office operations and procedures such as bookkeeping, preparation of payrolls, personnel, information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services. Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications. Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow. Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices. Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records. Plans office layout, develops office budget, and initiates cost reduction programs. Reviews clerical and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Prepares activities reports for guidance of management. Coordinates activities of various clerical departments or workers within department. Maintains contact with customers and outside vendors.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises employees in the Clinical Support Group. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 5 to 10 years office management experience, including supervisor responsibility, in a clinic setting.
Patient Relations Representative

Responsiblities include: answering incoming telephone calls; greeting visitors, ascertaining nature of visits, and directing individuals to appropriate personnel; verifying new patient registration and edits information as necessary to ensure up to date and accurate information is in patients' charts and Practice Management System in advance of appointments; pulls records or initiates medical records when patients enter the clinic; files chart documentation daily; collects patient co-pays and/or payments for visits at the time of service; enters patient charges and cash payments into practice management system; ensures proper CPT coding entry; assists with patient scheduling; participates in meetings as required; and performs other duties as assigned. Requirements include: five or more years general clerical experience including data entry; record keeping skills; ability to schedule appointments; knowledge of medical terminology; knowledge of general medical office administrative procedures and practices.
