Kara Ransom-Wright is the Program Coordinator for the Northern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault (NACASA) located in Flagstaff, Arizona. NACASA includes a team of forensic examiners and support staff who serve not only Coconino County, but the vast and rural areas of Northern Arizona, which include parts of Navajo and Apache Counties and the Navajo and Hopi reservations, in addition to Grand Canyon National Park. Kara joined NACASA in the summer of 2009, after working as the Interagency Council Coordinator for NavajoCounty. In this role, she organized efforts to bring coordinated sexual assault response services to Navajo County in the form of a Family Advocacy Center, where victims could be surrounded by services in their time of crisis.
