Melody Jordahl-Iafrato
Melody Jordahl-Iafrato, MD, graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She grew up in Thatcher, Arizona, and then attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Following medical school, she completed a family medicine residency at Banner Good Samaritan in Phoenix, Arizona. She spent another year at Good Samaritan while completing a faculty development fellowship and serving as junior faculty. She then moved on to the Hopi Health Care Center where she practiced full spectrum family medicine, including outpatient clinic, emergency, hospital, and obstetrical care. She is involved with organized medicine at both the state and national level and is currently the Vice President of the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians. Professional interests include women’s health, rural health and medical education of future physicians. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, live music, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
