| My name is Cathy Vaquera; I was born in Tempe, Arizona. I am a mother of five beautiful daughters, and have one grand daughter; with two more grand children on the way. I had lived in the White Mountain area where I worked for NACOG Head Start for ten years. I worked various positions climbing the ladder, from a Kitchen Aide to a Home Base Visitor. During this time I received my Associates in Child Development. I moved to Flagstaff, Arizona eight years ago. After continuing to work with NACOG for two years, I moved on to work with the WIC Program here in Coconino County as a Nutrition Counselor/Breast Feeding Counselor for four years. During that time I was certified a Breast Feeding Counselor. I have been working the last two years here at North Country HealthCare as a Community Health Worker for the Health Start Program. I am a Certified Car Seat Technician, and soon to be a CPR Instructor. |
